She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; and her siblings, Maybelle McBride, Chester Gay, Frank Gay, Wanetta Gay, John Gay, Georgie Marsh, Paul Gay, Eugene Gay, Herbert Gay, Levon Gay, Doris Rarrat, Larry Gay, Sharon Fulcher and William Gay.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Doss of Sinton, TX and Michael Kurtz of Bluffton, SC.; her grandchildren, Katherine Barsch, Jacob Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Jillian Williams and Amy Larson; and her pet Prissy.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (420 S Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78409).
