We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2024, at the age of 94, Aubrey Faye Bridges of Portland, Texas, born in Portland, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Aubrey Faye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Monk and Aubrey Monk; and her sisters, Frances Korte and Margo Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Jack Pittman; and her children, Jay Pittman, Brenda Tollett and Kelly Hartley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
