It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woody L. Smith of Porter, Texas, born in Humble, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Smith and Agnes Smith (Fox); and his siblings, Ollie Cowan, Elaine McCoy (Charles), Ruby Campbell and Hubert Smith.
He is survived by: his son Justin D Smith; his stepchildren, Johnathan G York (Chalice) and Sabrina S Patrick (Michael); and his grandchildren, Candice, Aiden, Christopher and Baelam. He is also survived by family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Bleeding Disorder Foundation (NBDF), one of Woody's passions for finding a cure and better treatments for the Hemophilia Community.
