She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Kimbrell and Virginia Kimbrell; and her grandparents, Claude, Mildred Phillips McGarity, Sylvester and Virgie Payne Kimbrell.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Broxson; her pet Molly of New Caney, TX; her brother Butch Kimbrell of Magnolia, TX; her brothers-in-law, Randy Broxson of Pflugerville, TX and Jim (Donna Broxson) of Quitman, AR; and her nieces and nephews, Alyssa Kimbrell, Carolyn Bachmeyer, Sue Miller, Nick Kimbrell, John Schneider, James Broxson and Lee Broxson.
