John Calvin Pinkney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calvin Pinkney of Porter, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilene Smith and James Pinkney; and his siblings, Michael Pinkney, James Pinkney Jr., Leondrei Pinkney, Glenda Ervin, Antoinette Hughes and Brenda Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Pinkney; his children, Aishia Pinkney, Nichelle Pinkney, Jonee'Pinkney, Jacqueline Green and John Pinkney II (Eleanor); and his siblings, William Stovall, Denard Pinkney, James Stovall, Muhammad Salaam, Alex Dickison, Timothy Lawson, Bernard Moreland, Stephaine Kelly, Tonya Pinkney and Lucille Stovall. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
