He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Norman Shearer, Sr. and Mary Alice Shearer; his brother Monty Shearer; his children, Shirley Lilley Shearer, Dede Murray (Tony), Shawna Winter (Walter) and Shelly Slade (David); his brother Ronald Shearer (Dorothy); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden Fountain, Kaesyn, Baylon Winter, Brooke and Colt Slade. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
