He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Luce and Ruby Jewel Landes; his brother Jimmy Dale Luce; his son Jerry Thomas Luce Jr.; and his grandson Brian Whiddon.
He is survived by: his brother James Ray Luce; and his children, Phillip (Tammy Luce), Kathryn "Chelley" (Raoul Bayona), Atina (David Smith), Adawna (Brad McKee) and Tammie Cummings.
