He is survived by: his wife Ethel Nicholas of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Joseph A. Jackson, II, Jeremy A. Jackson, Jared A. Jackson of Kingwood, TX, Chad A. Nicholas and Chelsea M. Nicholas of Slidell; and his siblings-in-law, Mary A. Johnson (Wilfred) and Joseph Elow (Marie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
