She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Raines Young; her stepparents, Charles Young and Oleta Hart; her grandparents, Harris S. Hart and Erselle Porter Hart; and her children-in-law, Emily Crixell and Tommy Chesser.
She is survived by: her children, Kristel Chesser and Michael Sigman Jr. Always; her grandchildren, Joseph Aguilar, Christopher Aguilar, Julian Crixell, Haden Chesser and Kaitlyn Chesser; her siblings, Leon "Bubba" Stroud, Deitra Lynn Stroud, Katherine Hart and Elisa Mahone; and her stepsisters, Kathy Fisher and Patty Faulk. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
