With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudius Freeman Smith of Port Oconnor, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Smith and Mamie Evangeline Smith (Cornelius); and his siblings, Mamie Pearl (Wallace), George Jr., James and Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Claudeen Leora Neal (Larry Hoffman), Audrey Dawn Sandberg (Kevin), Lynda Karen Day (Barry) and Denise Michele Smith (Dreis Humphreys); his grandchildren, Benjamin Neal, Keaton, Cooper Sandberg, Spencer Day, Michele and Zachary Zimmerman; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Bryce, Charlee, Clayton and Mackenzie.
