He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack Mills, Paul and Geraldine Scalf; his uncle Gar Cowart; and his nephew Noah Frost.
He is survived by: his parents, Deborah Mills Scalf of Port Neches and Dempsey James Scalf; his daughters, Sophia Scalf and Vivian Scalf; his siblings, Aaron Scalf (Stacey) of Port Orchard, Washington and Jillian Scalf Frost (Adam) of Port Neches; his grandmother Barbara Mills of Port Neches; his aunts, Stephanie Cowart of Nederland and Lisa Pilkington (Kevin) of Houston; his nephews, Zander Frost and Tristan Scalf; and his niece Ashton Scalf.
In lieu of flowers, "Memorial Contributions" can be made to Deborah Scalf in memory of Zachary for the college fund of his two daughters, Sophia and Vivian.
