Lakey, Jr.; his wife Ella Mae Lakey of Port Neches, Texas; his daughter Charlotte Cox (Tim) of Port Neches, Texas; his stepchildren, Janet Daughtery (Jarrott) of Corsicana, Texas, Paul Smith (Cathy) of McDade and Terry Mahan of LaGrange, Texas; and his grandson Tryon Cox (Shannon). He was also cherished by 17 step-grandchildren; 27 step-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
