She was predeceased by: her parents, Letney Roy Vice and Paul Vice; her husband Sam Porter; and her sister Patsy Vice. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Arnold of Port Neches, Pattie Rodriguez of Nederland and Lisa Spears (David) of Vidor; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Arnold, Joshua Rodriguez (Lauren), Amber Phillips (Ben), Tara Johnson (Jeremy), Dustin Coody, Brandi Leatherwood (Brian) and David Spears, Jr. (Kimberly). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
