He was predeceased by: his father William "Royce" Harper; and his mother-in-law Ellen Thornton. He is survived by: his mother Margie Harper; his wife Angela Thornton Harper; his daughter Alyssa Ellen Harper of Port Neches; his brother Michael Harper (Jed Duhon) of Austin; his father-in-law Jack Thornton of Groves; his daughter Desireé Hoag of Groves; his niece Dillon; and his nephew Ian of Austin.
