He was predeceased by: his wife Ty Thi Ngo; and his sons, Hai Minh Dang, Lam Thanh Dang and Phong Hong Dang. He is survived by: his children, Thuy T. T. Dang (Hoc Vu) of Bridge City, Van T. T. Dang of Saigon and Michael "Hung" Dang (Diane Manh Dang) of Beaumont; and his daughter-in-law Phuong Nguyen.
