He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayburn Bodden and Ellie Mae Thompson Bodden; his siblings, Gweneth Bodden, Hilary Thompson and Edison Bodden; and his grandson Jason Bodden.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Bodden of Port Neches; his children, Lana Thibodeaux (Pete) of Bridge City, Rayburn C. Bodden (Karen) of Nederland and Edward "Eddie" Bodden (Sue) of Groves; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bodden, Brittany Sumner (Jessie), Kristy Bodden and Jeremy Bodden; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Averie, Evynn and Talon Sumner.
