He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce C. Thompson and Lillie Winkler Thompson Holley; and his sister Wanda Thompson Rohrbaugh (Alletta Rotroff Thompson). He is survived by: his spouse Alletta Thompson; his children, Caira Thompson Franz (Mike) and Skylar Thompson (Angie); his sister-in-law Marlene Lee (Gale); his grandchildren, Macy Franz Hill (James), Greg Franz (Ashley), David Thompson (Loren), Meredith Franz Broussard (Ryan), Heath Thompson (Courtney), Clifton Franz, Neal Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson and Nicole Thompson; and his great grandchildren, George Hill, Charlie Hill, Caylynn Franz, Carli Franz, Reese Broussard, Evie Broussard and Layke Thompson.
