She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Byerly and Kinsey Byerly; her husband Carl Douglas Wigley; her daughter Cynthia Smith; and her brothers, Ken Byerly, Damon Byerly, Scott Byerly, Tommy Byerly and Dalton Byerly.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Wigley, Jr. (Sandy) of Orange and Kathryn McCollum (Mike) of Port Neches, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Chris McCollum, Amy Peveto, Andy Peveto, Randi Guire, Jamie Patillo, Lauren Helling, Taylor Wigley, Tara Whittington, Keelie Miller, Bryan Smith and Robin Buesing. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melancon's Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Community Cemetery.
