He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Taubert and Albert Arno Taubert, Sr.; his wife Deanna; his daughter Mary Diane Smithy of Kingwood, Texas; and his sisters, Dolores Allen of Houston and Shirley Gennusa of Bridge City, Texas..
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Heckaman (Alton) of Kingwood, Texas and Glenn Taubert (Kelly) of Lumberton, Texas; his sisters, Aggie Hunter (Tommy) of Bryan and Donna Taubert of Rockport, Texas; his grandson Aaron Heckaman (Emily); his sisters, Ryan Taubert (Primrose), Bailey Wommack (Spencer) and Emily Sparks (Kaleb); his great grandchildren, Evan, Kaitlyn and Avery Heckaman; and his grandchildren, Eli and Rya Taubert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
