She is survived by: her daughters, Genette Spear of Harlingen and Serena Edwards of Harlingen; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Oerther of Austin, Victoria Oerther, Stephanie Spear of Harlingen and Georgia Edwards of Denton; and her sisters, Beth Dawson of Springfield and Virginia Strickland of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
