She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edwards and Rosie Lee Bedford; and her husband Robert Sweeney, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Rose Mary Barefield, Joseph Vickers (Sheredian) and Nikki Thomas (Sylvester). She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church (419 W Center St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
