With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Alba Garza (Port Lavaca, Texas), born in Ozona, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Robert L. Cardenas; her parents, Tomas Munoz Garza and Biatriz Alba Garza; and her siblings, Valdemar A. Garza, Louis A. Garza, Romeo Alba Garza and Delores Garza Martinez.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Rubio (Gilbert); and her grandchildren, Raquel Trevino (Martin), Stephanie Cantu (Nicholas), Dakota Ring (Loryn), Ashley Cardenas and Robert Martinez, Jr. (Chineal).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Funeral Chapel - Port Lavaca (1604 W Austin St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
