Sammye Claire Diebel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammye Claire Diebel of Port Lavaca, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Tisdale and Olivia Tisdale (Stutzenbecker); her husband Frank Diebel; and her sisters, Olivia Cragin and Lois Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Diebel, Sam Diebel (Nancy) and Sarah Krueger (Dan); her grandchildren, Jason Krueger (Courtney), Kyle Krueger, Faye Diebel and Frank Diebel (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Keileigh, Connor, Liesl, Lillian, Emma and Ellie; and her brother Samuel Tisdale of Harlingen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice.
