He is survived by: his mother Pauline Vargas Garza; his children, Zachary Lynn Gonzales, Hannah Lozano (Jon-David) and Haleigh Gonzales (Zachary Cruz); his grandchildren, Noah Lozano, Emma Cruz, Jett Lozano and Blake Lozano; his sister Joy Cardona (John); his sons-in-law, Jon David Lozano and Zachary Cruz; his uncle Seferino Vargas; and his brothers-in-law, Samuel Gonzales Jr., Isaiah Gonzales Sr., Richard Arriaga, Randy Reagan and Miko Garza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
