He is survived by: his wife Olga Amejorado Szela of Port Lavaca; his sons, Stuart Michael Szela (Lacey) and Kevin Marcus Szela (Nicole); his sister Debra Picard (Dominic) of North Stonington, Connecticut.; and his grandchildren, Peter Joe Szela, Brayleighn Navy Szela, Haley Michelle Torres and Kenna Marie Szela.
