We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2021, at the age of 75, Margarita Barrera of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Alliance, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilberto Barrera and Dora Barrera (Torres); her son Matthew Ocanas; her grandson Christopher Paul Ocanas; and her siblings, Mary Portillo, Juan Partida and Gilbert Barrera.
She is survived by: the father of her children Johnny Ocanas, Jr.; her children, Mary Helen Smith, Johnny Ocanas III, Paul Ocanas, Sr. (Stephanie) and Reynaldo Ocanas (Jennifer); her siblings, Beatrice Ramirez, Carmen DeLaCeda, Lilly Williams, Betty Gonzalez and Roy Barrera; and her pets, Elvis and Sammy. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
