He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Garza; and his children, Manuel III (Tonia), Norma (John), Hector (Helen), Fred and Beatrice (Ralph). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
