It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Escobedo of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Edinburg, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Baltazar Escobedo and Guadalupe Garcia Escobedo; and his siblings, Lucia Cano, Hortencia Bazan, Eucebio "Chevo" Escobedo and Baldemar "Balde" Escobedo.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Maseda Escobedo; his children, Cynthia Marie Anderson (Brent) and Manuel Escobedo, Jr. (Lorraine); and his sister Lupe Escobedo. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
