He is survived by: his wife Verna Kay; his children, Jennifer Brown-Herrera and Keith Brown; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Herrera, Justine Gauff (Jesse), Joshua Herrera (Shelby), Nicole Brown, Brice Brown and Blake Brown; his great grandchild Cooper Herrera; his siblings, Dianna Michalik (Charlie), Doris Malaer (Albert), Homer Brown (Cheryl) and Gloria Benner (Ronnie); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Brown and Kathy Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
