He was predeceased by: his parents, Min Chen and Fu-Ron Lin Chen. He is survived by: his wife Hsiu-Hung "Lucy" Chen; his children, Wendy Chan (Stanley), Katie Chong (John) and Tommy Chen; his grandchildren, Andrew Chong (Soon), Anna Farlow (Jeff), Alexander Chong, Caleb Chan, Kolbe Chan and Bella Grace Chan; and his great grandchildren, Cayden and Luka Chong.
