He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ray and Laura Mae Duncan Custer; and his siblings, Rocky Ryan, Darrell D. Custer and Annie Marie Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Janet York of Victoria, Texas.; his son Kenneth Ray Custer (Sarah) of Vanderbilt; and his grandchildren, Molly Jo Drazic (George) of Austin, Rae Lynn Rowe (Homie) of Pearland, Texas., Alexander, Evan, Miles Drazic, David Cole, Richard, Corey Rowe, Monica Sierra and Sarah Stoneking.
