It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaime Olivares of Port Lavaca, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Consuelo J. Villalobos; his grandmother Angelina Villarreal Villalobos; and his godmother Julia Saldivar. He is survived by: his son Jaime Olivares II; his sisters, Rebecca Villalobos Smith (Steve) and Joyce Villalobos Rivera (Rudy); his nieces, Christara Smith, Carmelita Smith and Julia Rivera; his nephew Xavier Rivera; and his great-nephew Jackson Thomas Thigpen.
