With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Peña of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Los Ebanos, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Peña Sr. and Sara Hart Peña; his wife Christina Ybarra Peña; his son Leo Peña; and his siblings, Guadalupe Carreon, Minne Garza, Eva Peña, Blanca Aurora Peña, Paulita Peña, Leonel Peña, Adan Peña, Adalberto Peña, Juan Peña Jr., Tomas Peña, Hiram Peña, Vudelio Peña and Olegario Peña.
He is survived by: his children, Hilda M. Peña Galindo, Hector David Peña, Thomas Peña and Homer Peña; and his sister-in-law Olga Peña. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
