He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George Spiegel (Ruby Ethel Mayhall Spiegel) and Ruby Ethel Mayhall Spiegel; and his siblings, Leroy Spiegel, Nelda Morgenroth and Georgia Mingle.
He is survived by: his children, Sherilyn Spiegel Poarch, Harold Llyod Speigel, Jr. and Bryan Miller Spiegel; and his wife Joyce Miller. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
