She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Brown and Katherine Brown; and her siblings, Dorothy Brown, Kenneth, Ralph and Leslie Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Malaer; her sons, Mark Malaer (Terri) and Gary Malaer (Debbie); her siblings, Diana Michalik (Charlie), Gloria Benner (Ronnie) and Homer Brown (Cheryl); her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Brown and Kay Brown; her grandchildren, Christine Malaer, Cody Malaer, Kyle Malaer (Hannah), Brittany Malaer and Taylor Malaer; and her great grandchildren, Wrenley and Oakley Malaer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home (123 Newlin St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
