He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe E. Beard and Alice Beard; his wife Carol Ann Partain Beard; and his siblings, Lucille Beard, Jeanette Partain, Thelma Holloway, Everett Beard, Joe Ray Beard and Lonnie Beard.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Beard of Knoxville, TN, Nancy Webb of Port Lavaca and Sherilyn Beard (Rhonda Treybig) of Victoria; his grandchildren, Chris Webb, Jamie Webb, Garrett Beard, Easton Bauer, Ashlyn Beard, Brett Beard and Drew Beard; his great grandchildren, Caidyn Beard, Calia Webb, Ben Bauer and Andie Bauer; and his brother Tommy Beard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
