He is survived by: his mother Tomasa Leal Lara; his wife Sandra Lara; his children, Jolynn Lara and Daniel Lara, Jr.; his stepchildren, Veronica Luna, Abel Luna, Alex Rodriguez and Leon Ryan Diaz; and his siblings, Rosa Linda Perez, Carolina Sanchez, Joe Lara and Adolpho Lara. He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren.
