She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis R. Carter and Betty Jo Carter; her in-laws, Norman and Mildred Miller; her niece Michawn Ward; and her nephew Timothy Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Miller; her children, Tammie Albarado (Jimmy), Randy Miller (Shari), Joanna Dlabaj (Jeff) and Kendra Miller; her sisters, Wanda Goynes (Raymond) and Debbie Innocenti (Wayne); her close friend Jean Mills; and her adoptive daughter Beatrice Mendoza. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
