He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shefcik and Lillie B. Shefcik; and his son Michael LeeRoy Shefcik. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Newlin Shefcik of Port Lavaca; his daughter Terri Shefcik Wunderlich of Port Lavaca; his brother Gene Shefcik (Ethelene) of Edna; and his grandchildren, Traci Shefcik (Juan Acosta), Michael Shefcik, Courtney Lacy and Charlcie Lacy. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Port Lavaca Church of Christ (808 TX-35, Port Lavaca, TX 77979).
