We bid farewell to Andrea Mendez of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Long Mott, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Andrea touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Andrea is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Federico T. Mendez; and her parents, Jose Lara and Carmen Lara. She is survived by: her children, Fred Joseph Mendez (Dolores), Dora Vann (Eloy), Della Salinas (Edward), Ida Flores and Sylvia Rosas (Sam). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
