It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Wehmeyer of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Yorktown, Texas, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Koopman Hahn; her husband Amos Wehmeyer; her son Nathan Wehmeyer; and her siblings, Mary Jane Schliesser and Wilfred Hahn.

She is survived by: her son Philip Wehmeyer (Kelly); her daughter-in-law Laura Wehmeyer McGrew; her sisters, Cecilia Dolezal and Helen Grimes; her grandchildren, P. J. Wehmeyer (Melanie), Caleb Wehmeyer (Kelsey) and Kassidy Kocian (Lane); and her great grandchildren, Addison Branham, Parker Wehmeyer, Kinley Wehmeyer, Everly Kocian, Everett Kocian, Eloise Kocian and Elliette Kocian.
