She was predeceased by: her parents, Adan Rodriguez and Maria Rodriguez; her son Alfred Gonzalez Jr.; and her grandson Joseph R. Valdez. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joe F. Valdez Jr. and Melissa A. Valdez; her siblings, Alicia, Lupita, Rachel and David; and her sons, Joe Frank Valdez Sr. and Ernest Gonzalez Sr.. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home (123 Newlin St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Port Lavaca Cemetery (500 Martin Luther King Dr, Port Lavaca, TX 77979).
