She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Villarreal Reyna and Lazaro Polanco Reyna; her former husband Praxides D. Gonzales II; her husband Gonzalo M. Garza; her daughter Rosie Gale Covarrubiaz; her granddaughter Kassandra Nicole Contreras; and her siblings, Asusena "Susie" Cervantes, Lazaro Reyna and Johnny Reyna.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Gonzales, Brenda Silva, Adelina "Debbie" Contreras, Dahlia "Mary" Garza, David Garza, John Garza and Lazaro Garza (Larry); and her brother David W. Reyna. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
