He is survived by: his wife Velma Garcia Sandlin; his daughter Rebekah Lynne Sandlin; his son-in-law Christian Hernandez; his sister Charlotte Sandlin Lucore; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Shaw, Cynthia Sandlin, Mary Ruby Gonzalez, Eddie Garcia (Esmeralda), Noe Garcia (Yolanda) and Felix Garcia. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and other relatives.
