He was predeceased by: his wife Manuela; his son Luis; his grandchildren, Terri and Daniel; his great grandchild Brandon David; his parents, Jose and Apolonia; and his siblings, Manuel, Guillermo, Domingo, Cristin, Virginia, Maria, Juanita and Hortencia.
He is survived by: his children, Placido, Jr., Maria Magdalena (Richard) of Jesus, Francisco, Enrique (Ida), Noe, Eva and Apolonia (Roger); his sister Nicolasa Uresti; and his grandchildren, Placido III, Julie, Raymond, Joseph, Irene, Mary Ann, Nellie Ann, JoAnn, Isaiah, Charity, Angela, Ronald, Tamara, Andrew, Adrian, Alicia, Noah, Raquel, Adelaida, Iris, David and Christian. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
