He was predeceased by: his granddaughters, Ana Marcela and Ana Maiela; and his parents, Earnest Walter and Myrtle Evans Cateora. He is survived by: his wife Coty Melguizo Cateora of Port Isabel; his children, Coty Monica Galvan (Nuno), Anna Lauren Chapple (Frank) and Michael Christopher Cateora (Kristina); his grandchildren, Paulina, Daniela, David, Avery, Pablo, Carl, Christopher, Aiden, Chloe and Olivia; and his brother Rex Cateora.
