He is survived by: his wife Marivel Ochoa Lopez Turrubiate; his daughter Amanda Nicole Turrubiate; his grandson Kaleb Ortiz; and his siblings, Juan Turrubiate, Jose Luis Turrubiate, Nicolasa Turrubiate, Julia Delgado, Camilo Turrubiate, Connie Grodecki, Martin Alberto Turrubiate and David Turrubiate.
