He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Betancourt. He is survived by: his wife Blanca S. Betancourt; his granddaughters, Blanca Lea Tabares and Samantha Leemarie Ibarra; his mother Casilda Martinez Betancourt; and his siblings, Daniel Betancourt Jr., Cristobal Betancourt, Reynaldo Betancourt (Rosa) and Amelia Villarreal (Jose Antonio).
