She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Gene Cook, Sr.; her parents, Albert J. Vail Sr. and Naomi Sasser Vail; her children, Debra Cook Hill (James A. Hill), John Gene Cook, Jr. (Mary Ellen) and James Robert Cook II (Jean McCarty Cook); her grandchildren, TJ Hill (Donna Bird Hill), Lea Jenice Hill Hart (Trevor Hart) and Kristen Vail Cook; and her great grandchildren, Emma Hart, Eleanor Hart, Christian Hill and Gabriel Hill.
