He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Dorsey; his daughters, Airramis Dorsey Guidry-Bradley (Alfred) and Pagee Guillory (Brandon); his grandchildren, Keira Slater, Daniel Jones, Jr. and Haleigh Jones; his siblings, Calvin Bolds, Sr., Leonard Guidry, Jr. (Dorthy), Chris Dorsey (Ashleigh), Spencer L. Dorsey (Felicia), Robert Earl Dorsey, Myrna Bolds (John), Denise Guidry, Gwendolyn Dorsey (Clarence), Cynthia Dorsey-Johnson (Willie) and Angela Dorsey (Ellis); his uncle Spencer Dorsey (Enolia Dorsey); his aunt Debbie Dorsey-Bickham (Darryl); his brothers-in-law, Johnny Jones, Jessie Jones and Issac Jones (Karen); and his close friends, Pierre Williams, Jeffery Ford, Michael McMillan, Hose Brown, Doug, Mona Foots, Keisha Louis, Cynthia Guillory, Pauline Como, Paula of Washington, Tarsha Taylor, Stephanie Hulin, Tracy Guidry and Princellete Prevost. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
A Public Viewing for Mr. Dorsey will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p. m. at Mercy Funeral home Chapel and on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Rock Island Baptist Church, with the practicing of social distancing and facial masks required.
